About Bridge-Gate

Bridge-Gate is a manufacturer of quality food service disposables. In 2005 the company began by providing a premium line of dinnerware made from natural fiber as an alternative to polystyrene foam and conventional molded fiber. With the on going legislation and desire to replace polystyrene foam Bridge-Gate expanded its product mix to include take out packaging made also made from renewable resource. These natural fibers are the by product of crop harvests. With the importance of sustainable resources to the food service community, we are committed to providing products to our clients that uphold our standards of quality and our dedication to the environment. Bridge-Gate continues to research new materials and processes to produce biodegradable, compostable, and functional products for food service.

Bridge-Gate does not purchase any items on the open market. At Bridge-Gate we manufacturer products to our specifications ensuring our quality standards are met. Our factory inspects each piece that is produced. Bridge-Gate products are certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI). (www.bpiworld.org)

The BPI identifies products that meet stringent scientifically based specifications for compostability. Bridge-Gate products meet test standard ASTM D6868 and are designed to disintegrate and biodegrade swiftly and safely in a professionally managed composting facility. At Bridge-Gate we continue to investigate renewable resources for production and innovative production methods to ensure our goal of promoting a cleaner environment.
